It's time... To start my own thing

For family and friends who’ve known me for years, they know that photography has always been a huge part of my life. I almost never leave the house without my camera with hope that I’ll run into one of those “moments.” The heavy dangling weight of the camera off my shoulder feels natural, like it’s a part of my body.

It all began when I was 14 years old when I started (over) photographing my little sister with my father’s SLR. Then, I discovered the dark room in my high school. Then, there were my artsy friends who loved being photographed. Then, I got hooked on traveling. And now, I have two young daughters. I have archived the world around me with thousands (more like tens of thousands) of images.

It’s been almost three years since moving to New York and leaving behind the high-paced corporate world. I love this bustling city as it somehow brings together people of such different backgrounds, reconnects me to old friends, and constantly leads me to new relationships. I am strongly drawn to people who are immersed in doing what they love. It’s perhaps the very reason why I love living here.

Now, here I am in 2020. I’m excited to be launching my company and allowing myself to dive into projects that will challenge me in so many ways. Focused on the concept of visual storytelling, I hope to capture compelling narratives of individuals and organizations that are dedicated to bring about change.

I’m a new, open-minded and multifaceted photographer. I’d love to help you unfold your story.
