Actor Headshots with Westchester School of Speech and Drama

Over the past few months, I’ve been working with Westchester School of Speech and Drama on actor headshots for their talented students.

This was no simple headshot day where students just smiled in front of a camera, but an acting exercise. I wanted to share about the unique process and the incredible results.

The ultimate goal of the project was to create portraits of each actor that conveyed a range of emotions. I worked in partnership with Acting Coach Jeana Riley to guide the actors in presenting their personality as well a mix of different emotions.

Each student did an incredible job in utilizing their acting skills, and I was stunned by the depth of emotions they were able to express. I also focused on selecting different editing style for each student in order to accentuate their unique personality.
